Diversified Technique

Diversified Chiropractic technique is taught at all chiropractic colleges and is perhaps the most widely used modality across Chiropractors throughout the world. The adjustment entails a high velocity, low-amplitude thrust that is delivered by hand and possibly with assistance from a table or block. This may or may not result in a joint cavitation. A joint cavitation is the characteristic ‘popping’ sounds that chiropractic patients describe when they receive a manual adjustment. When performed with skill a diversified adjustment should be quick and comfortable.
